About Me
I am a soon-to-be graduate at Boston University's College of Communication with a degree in advertising, but my true passion is sports journalism.
In Fall 2022, I was a sports editor for the Daily Free Press (BU's independent student newspaper) and have covered BU Athletics during my time at BU, specifically field hockey, women's basketball and women's lacrosse. In Fall 2023, I was the editor-in-chief for the publication, where I got to read and edit so many great pieces of work and learn from it all.
At BU, I was a beat reporter for the Boston Hockey Blog for the women's ice hockey team and an intern on MassLive's high school sports' desk. I also freelanced for The Boston Globe.
I am an avid Boston sports fan — especially the Bruins — inevitably leading to my love of sports reporting. 2011 didn't hurt the passion for covering Championship-caliber teams. Covering the Celtics parade for my current internship at the Providence Journal this summer was pretty awesome too.
